Dear James and Cat,
Love is in the air, and in the wood and flowers, the harp and guitar, your eyes and caresses, friends, family, God. Thank you James and Cat for showing us all what Love is. These pictures were what I saw, and I hope they remind you of how far you've come, and the eternity of One to follow.
A beautiful wedding of beautiful people. James + Cat forever.

It has been a while since my last adventure, a while since my camera captured a moment worth remembering. On this Independence Day we celebrate our people's new existence, and still looking for my own way I thought it was time to try a new road...
It was 90ish deg around where I lived in San Jose, but thinking I knew better I brought pants and a sweater just in case, as I ventured out wearing shorts and a tank top. After I stopped by Hayward for some BBQ, I headed towards The Haight of San Francisco... and it was COLD. Wow, 90deg to maybe 50deg?... WTF!??... Well, anyway, after taking some pics, I headed out to cross the Golden Gate Bridge and to scope out the Marin Headlands... and some pics later...
...So, I stood at on top of Point Cavallo from around 8pm waiting for the fireworks to start at 9:30pm, frozen, miserable. Yeah, I was in my shorts even though pants, a shirt, and hiking boots were in the trunk of my car. Sigh... As the fog rolled in, my hopes of catching an epic picture of the city under the lights of the fireworks rolled over. But as a consolation I was able to take a nice picture of the Golden Gate Bridge before the show started.
... and so I got my adventure.
And I had one realization, and just one was all that was needed to make this a great day: Independence means different things to different people, and I found one gentleman and his friends who were willing to show all those that found them what Independence meant as an American.
The most amazing road trip EVER.
There was excitement, and there were smiles and hugs. Plenty of literally ROFL! There was overcoming of fears of death, and succumbing to far less. Pain and suffering. Sweat. Tears. There was at least one epiphany. Stood before crossroads and took the one less traveled by. Found new friends, found old friends. There were girls and boys, and found at least one man. There was great failure. There was even greater success. Some were won, some were lost. There was DEBAUCHERY!!! Found God's great beauty caressing our feet, soaring above our heads. Lost myself. Found my inner self once again. There was peace.
Thank you to Courtney, Anthony, Kevin, and everyone else who shoved me into 2014 and the rest of my life!!!

After hanging out with Max and Becca, Courtney and I got to Venice Beach around 4pm. Unfortunately it was already getting dark, so I had to crank up the ISO for most of the pictures. The typical denizens that we went to see were packing up, but a different crowd started to take over and the new scene emerged...
...Another beautiful night with the rioters, the dreamers, the stoners, and all else that is Venice.
Bay to Breakers 2014 @ San Francisco, CA.
So out of the blue my friend Zerlene, who I haven't seen in years, said hi and invited me to hang out with her friends at the parade. Looked up some pics and thought, cool!, I'm in!
I think I went to sleep ~1:30am that morning, but we had to meet up in Fremont to take the 7:20am bart, which was a ~40min drive for me, so I got like 4 1/2 hrs of sleep... sigh. Well, on the bart she handed me a pink cowboy hat... alright, I can do that, ha ha. When we arrived in SF we went to the Craftsman & Wolves and picked up some Rebel Withins (look it up!) and mmm, I was feelin' good... So we walked to her friend Hiyasmin's place and next thing I know I was wearing a tutu!!! WTF!?!? Yeah, and a pink lei too... but a tutu? Damn!...
...And then I spent the whole day mesmerized and happy, showing off my pretty tutu and robust figure to the thousands of on-watchers, completely oblivious to being a cross-dresser!...
Thank you Z, Hiyasmin, Andrew, Jesse, and all the other costumed freaky friends for making my first couple months of moving up North to the Bay Area all worth it!
Another great Yelp Elite Event!
