National Red Bull Flugtag 2013 @ Long Beach, CA. Hanging out with the usual suspects: Anthony et al and Kevin.

(Unfortunately could not get a good spot to take the shots of the airplanes and for most of the shots this stupid pole was in the way between the runway and the jump area. So, using the servo mode on my camera I would begin tracking the plane (or whatever t. f. it is) down the runway but then the camera would lose focus when it hits the pole. Then I would try to hit focus right afterwards but failed most of the time. Probably should have lengthened/lessened the tracking sensitivity. Oh well. Anyway, I know the airplane pictures suck, but you can get a sense of what it was like hopefully.)

...(and... I let this lady that had 2 little kids with her butt in front of me gradually so her kids could get a better view on her shoulders. But then eventually she pushed me out enough to plop her two kids right in front of me on the railing, and both her kids had their hair tied up on top of the head, pointing up. Thanks lady. So in the shots you'll notice areas of bad contrast--those would be her kids' hair causing vignetting. Oh well.)
